Also thankyou to all my beautiful family and friends who without them I wouldn`t have been strong enough to make this journey. All of you have been there for me through thick and thin and put up with my carrying on. .especially Susie you are my world....so thankyou I love each and everyone of you....
Thankyou

Marcelina`s Casa

Ok so I am in Valapriso at the moment just arrived today. Went to Marcelina`s house yesterday but couldn`t write anything as I was absloutely exhausted. This whole experience has been both physically and emotionally exhausting.
So Susies and I met Norita and Helma (her friend) downtown in Santiago, at the same place we met her the day before. I wasnt as nervous this time but I certainly was worried about the language barrier. Trying to talk to Norita is actually ok because we use alot of hand movements and gestures.
We got a taxi, which are very cheap to Batuco which is were they live. Its a small, little country town which has cute little houses. Marcelina`s house is def a cute house. Walking in to their house I realised I was walking into another world, another world that could have been mine. It was like watching it on TV, I always felt like I was truly never there and watching from afar. Seeing what your life could have been like if you weren`t adopted is BIZARRE and indescribable.....a total flip out.
First I gave Marcelina a big hug and kiss and this time around meeting her I fell in love with her even more. She was more relaxed this time and her personaltiy shone through in her house. I met her husband who was so very nice and friendly considering the situation. Her house was nothing like I expected...very cosy, quaint, busy, homely, sweet and welcoming. Susie and I never felt unwelcomed and always felt special. She had 2 cats and 2 dogs.
Marcelina cooked us lunch this great chicken soup and salad. My apetite wasnt that big because i kept on saying to myself 'your in your mother`s house`....so surreal!
The language barried was the greatest problem and constantly Susie and I were writing things down, checking our phrasebooks and playing charades basically the whole day, it was tiring.
We got there about 12pm and left around 6pm so it was a great day just soaking in their family life and telling myself this could be my home.
Teresa my other younger sister came home from work around 3pm and was very emotionally as I hadnt seen her yet. So there were more tears shed.....Teresa is another gorgeous girl who I`m lucky to have as a sister.
I filmed and took photos all day however alot of them are very shy when it comes to being filmed.
I have to say I am one of the luckiest adoptees ever because not only did I meet my mother I got to spend some quality time with her at her home with her family who were all so accepting and caring.
Def one of the best days of my life and I left there feeling whole and settled.
We exchanged details of course and I will see them again when I come back to Santiago Dec 27 to fly back home.
